Abstract: Third-party auditing for deduplication in a centralized cloud server
The main aim of the deduplication centralized cloud server project is to avoid duplicate files in the centralized cloud server. For that, a secured third party auditing methodologies have been introduced. This will enhance the maintenance and management of heavy data in the cloud server. In added with enhanced file system segmentation has been introduced.
Now a day’s Cloud storage server-based companies are getting increased like AMAZON, GOOGLE and etc. Each server needs to maintain their own storage server, their cloud storage will be last up to 100 to 200 TB in minimum. For instance, Facebook needs a minimum of 50 TB per day. similarly most of the companies will not take much interest in buying or increasing new cloud spaces, it’s quite expensive also. Some companies may need the maximum number of storage at the same time. Also maintaining the very records will occupy more space in the cloud server. Due to this problem here we are introducing intelligent secured third party auditing methodologies to avoid deduplication.
Initially, the file systems are separated into four major types:
- Sensitive files
- Confidential Files
- Private Files
- Public Files
While categorizing the file systems all the most important files will be stored in the sensitive and confidential file system. And least important files will be stored in the private and public files. Mostly the sensitive and confidential files will be image, word and note pad file and other files are in data format. While uploading the file the TPA will verify the file format. All the data will be stored in the CSP (Cloud Service Provider)
In order to avoid the de duplication text categorization and image categorization will be introduced. These two methods will be club together to form a data validation method. In the existing method will same files are stored in different file names means; the cloud will accept the data and the data too will be stored in the cloud storage.
But by using our deduplication centralized cloud server method, in case change in the file name but both the files are the same means, the TPA and CSP will not allow the file to store in the server. This will be done through categorization methods. Initially, this process will be verified for Image, Word and note pad only. And in the future, all the file formats can be done. Also, the CSP will provide secured data accessing control for the users.
In case another user is trying to hack the storage means, automatically IDS (Intrusion Detection system) will be executed and a warning will be sent to the current user. So that the total CSP will become under a secured zone. By using all the above-mentioned techniques the entire cloud storage will be maintained easily. In added with the file in the private and public category will be deleted after some months for data maintenance. Initially, the public files will be deleted after 6 months and private files will be deleted after 12 months. Sensitive and confidential files will remain the same.
