The main aim of this project is to develop a web-based secured file manager for accessing the study center to communicate with Admin and Students. Here the admin and user can access all kinds of data like word documents, Power-point presentations, Excel Sheets, All Image formats, All video formats, PDF Files, etc. Also, the file uploaded supports many extension files to be uploaded in the web-server. In case of the information should be much confidential data or document may be misused in case of storing the data in the local computers or in local servers. And also data may get damaged in case of any physical damages or in any natural disasters. To overcome this problem, web-based application has been created. Even thou the application was implemented in ASP.Net it supports both web architectures. Moreover, data logs and backups also can be done.
This web application provides an easy user interface and online administration which will allow you to manage users/permissions without the need for server configuration knowledge. This system is designed to allow developers to access their web server files over the internet. This application supports multiple users with user-level permissions on directories, uploads, creation, and editing of files and folders. There are also permissions based on file extensions. The application is also has a text file editor and text file viewed.
So here this process implements for a Study center where admin and students can interact with the web application. While uploading the file the data owner can provide privileges to the user to access the file. So that files can be easily accessed anywhere at any time with proper security.
