Abstract:
The main objective of the Alumni Portal with Information Sharing project is to develop a web-based portal for alumni interactions and their updates. This is a web-based application that will perform in both online and offline architecture. The Alumni Portal is a vital application for both schools and colleges. This is because juniors can keep in touch with their senior and super seniors.
Alumni Portal with Information Sharing will update the information about the alumni to the current year students. As well as the status can be updatable. Here all alumni will be created by the admin with the corresponding user name and password. So that all the information about the alumni will be more confidential. The alumni meeting can be updated in this portal by the admin; this can be done through the admin login. The created information will be sent to all the alumni.
The online alumni portal System is intended to meet the following objectives:
- Provide a contemporary centralized base of information that is easy to use by alumni and related staff.
- Provide efficient standard reporting and ad hoc reporting capabilities at the user level.
- Provide a means for supporting the management of special events.
- Provide a means for managing membership clubs.
- Provide a means for linking and interfacing other information systems on campus.
